• We've learned that a tube can be designed to create a particular frequency.

• What do I do now?

• Describe all the things that the solution should look like or do.  In the engineering process this is defining the design requirements

• Our requirements:

  • The wind chime will have 3 tubes that create 3 notes

  • The combination of notes will create a pleasing sound when played together

• Design solution:​

  • Choose a musical chord composed of 3 notes

  • Find the frequencies of the notes

  • Determine what length tube creates each of the frequencies
