Space Operations Forum 2023

In an effort to expand underrepresented minority participation within professional industry, you are invited to join the NSBE SCP Chapter (National Society of Black Engineers Space City Professionals) at SOF-2023! 

The Space Operations Forum will provide an opportunity for a diverse group of professionals to discuss complex challenges and generate strategic solutions for the advancement of our nation's capabilities in space. Groups will be presented with a list of 2 to 3 discussion topics related to potential challenges associated with the NASA’s (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) transition from ISS (International Space Station) to CLD (Commercial Low Earth Orbit Destinations) and asked to come up with possible solutions, which will be presented. Additionally, university students are encouraged to participate in SOF-2023 for an opportunity to learn more about our nation’s current challenges and capabilities related to space, as well as network and learn about potential employment/internship opportunities.  

SOF-2023 is expected to foster collaborative partnerships that will enable all parties to solve relevant business problems within the space industry, achieve mutual growth, and expand networks. The NSBE SCP are currently working with representatives from several other agencies/companies to make SOF-2023 a success.

Tour: For in-person attendees, please indicate if you would be interested in participating in an industry tour of a local facility following SOF-2023. Additional details will be provided.

Sponsorship Levels:

• Platinum $1000 and up (Sponsorship Perks: brand exposure through event advertising (social media, logos on printed material), designated table for outreach and engagement, and in-event speaking opportunity)
• Gold $500 - $999 (Sponsorship Perks: brand exposure through event advertising (social media, logos on printed material), and designated table for outreach and engagement)
• Silver $250 - $499 (Sponsorship Perks: brand exposure through event advertising (social media, logos on printed material)
